Quranic Course Underway in Tatarstan

An educational course on Quranic and religious teachings has been held at Russia’s Islamic University in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, head of the information office of the university said that the course has been organized by the Islamic university and World Congress of Tatars. It began on February 1.
Recitation and reading of the Holy Quran’s verses and history of Islam are among the course materials instructed in Tatar language.
The classes will continue for one month until March 3 and the participants will be given certificates by the university at the end of the course.
