On the occasion of the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, which is concurrent with the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal on the lunar Hijri calendar this year, three rare manuscript copies were unveiled.
The copies are part of the treasury of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Library and Archives Center.
They were unveiled on Saturday in a ceremony held to open an exhibition of old manuscripts. It was attended by a number of the library’s officials.
“Ma’arij Al-Nubuwwa Fi Madayih Al-Futuwwa” is the title of one of the manuscripts. Written by Moin-ud-Din ibn Muhammad Farahi in the 11th century Hijri, (17th century A.D.), it is a detailed history of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nourmohammadi, an official with the National Library and Archives Center, said introducing precious works, especially those featuring Islam and Iran, is among the main missions of the center.
The exhibition is open until Wednesday, February 6.
