Teachers of Religious Sciences to Be Honored in Madagascar

A number of Quran experts and lectureres of Al-Mustafa International University will be honored today, February 3, at a ceremony planned by the University’s branch in Antananarivo, Madagascar’s capital.
According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, Hojat-ol-Islam Ismail Pirniya, head of the university’s branch in this country said that the program will be organized to appreciate the efforts of religious and Quran experts of the region who have disseminated Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) teachings in the society.
The ceremony will begin with Quran recitatin by Mahdi Reifen, Madagascar’s eminent Qari, followed by a speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Pirniya.
He will talk about the status of religious scholars in Islam, honoring them, and the Seerah and moral virtues of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as the greatest teacher of mankind in view of the Holy Quran.
A clip introducing Al-Mustafa International University and Tawasheeh performance by Al-Mustafa group will be among other parts of the program.
12 lecturers of the university’s branch in Madagascar will be awarded at the ceremony which is expected to be attended by a number of university officials, scholars, intellectuals and male and female students of the university.
