Quran-based Culture & Arts Safeguard Islamic Establishment
Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini said the culture and arts that originate from the Holy Quran’s teachings guarantee the continuation of the Islamic Establishment.
Dr Hosseini made the remark before the Friday prayer sermons at the University of Tehran’s Campus, adding that his ministry’s main agenda is promoting the pure Islamic culture.
He referred to the establishment of the Quran and Etrat Deputy in the Culture Ministry and said that spreading the Quranic culture ensures the continuation of the Islamic Establishment.
“Instead of relying on the Western culture and thought, we need to learn more about the culture of the Quran and implement the teachings of the Quran in our life.”
Dr Hosseini congratulated the worshippers on the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, saying that in the years following the revolution’s victory, there have been a lot of accomplishment and efforts have been made to provide equal opportunities for all talents in the country.
He noted that the enemies have sought to hinder the progress of the Islamic country through sanctions, but the Iranian people will vigilantly put the sanctions behind them.
The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance added that the enemy is also waging a media war against the country, targeting the beliefs of the youth.
There should be appropriate measures in this field to foil this all-out cultural onslaught, he underlined.
