The city of Baalbek in Lebanon hosted a ceremony celebrating the 34th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
The ceremony was organized by Lebanon’s Hezbollah Islamic resistance movement, jebchit.com website reported.
It was attended by Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi and head of Hezbollah’s political council Sayyed Ibrahim Amin.
Roknabadi in a speech said that the Islamic Revolution was an unprecedented event in history.
He described the revolution as a revolution of La Ilaha Illa Allah (There is no God but Allah), one of faith against atheism and polytheism, and one of the oppressed against the oppressors.
The ambassador underlined that the call of Imam Khomeini (RA) will remain eternal and that the victory of the Muslim Iranian nation’s revolution has been an inspiration for the oppressed nations of the world, especially those in the Middle East.
He went on to say that Imam Khomeini (RA) called on all Muslim nations to learn from the Iranian nation and initiate a movement to reach independence and freedom and spread Islam.
