Muslims’ Condition Today Necessitates Enhancing Unity
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said the conditions of Muslims today make it necessary for them to more toward more unity.
He made the remark on Monday while addressing an inter-parliamentary meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan, adding that the arrogant powers seek to pit Muslims against one another.
“We are in a situation where there are different ideas in the Muslim world but we need to come to friendship through interactions,” Larijani underlined.
He further pointed to the situation in Syria and said the Islamic Republic of Iran wants democracy for Syria but democracy is not realized through arms.
“We have told different sides in Syria that they need to resolve issues through political dialogue”, Majlis speaker stressed.
He regretted that the Zionist regime has been exploiting the situation in Syria to bomb regions in the country.
