On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the demise of Allameh Seyyed Gholam Askari, founder of Tanzeem-ul-Makatib Organization in India, the Friday prayer leader in Lucknow noted that establishment of the organization and Islamic schools all over India is among the outstanding measures taken by the late scholar.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, Hojat-ol-Islam Javad Naqwi elaborated on religious activities and moral virtues of the Allameh as well as the programs of the organization.
He said that many experts of Islamic and Quranic sciences have studied at the Islamic organization and now are disseminating Islamic teachings in different countries.
Tanzeem-ul-Makatib is the greatest educational, religious and cultural organization in India serving different walks of people, he added.
Also speaking at the program, Hamid Al-Hassan, president of Nazimia Islamic University in India, clarified the importance of learning and teaching the Holy Quran based on a Hadith narrated by the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The program was held on February 10 with the participation of a number of eminent Indian scholars including Mazaher Ali, Indian cleric, Muhammad Jaber Jurasi, director of Islah Monthly and Seyyed Tasnim Mahdi, Indian scholar as well as students of seminary schools in India.
