"Khadijah Kubra (SA)" Islamic School Under Construction in Punjab

A new Islamic school called “Khadijah Kubra (SA)” is being constructed for women in Khwajagan region of Sitpur District, Pubnjab Province of Pakistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the construction project of the school kicked off at a ceremony on February 12 with the participation of a number of intellectuals and religious figures such as Hojat-ol-Islam Najm Al-Hasanayn, principal of Anwar-ol-Huda Islamic School and a large number of Muslim citizens.
The program began with Quran recitation and followed with a speech by the principal of the school, who clarified the objectives of the new school.
He stressed that the new Islamic school will open with the aim of promoting the level of Islamic and Quranic knowledge of women in the province.
The courses will be offered for both Shia and Sunni Muslim women pursuing the purpose of promoting unity among followers of various Islamic schools of thought, he added.
The scholar noted that such programs will certainly have positive influence on life of young Muslim generation in this country.
