World Powers Fretting Spread of Islamic Teachings
Spread of Islamic teachings among nations of the world is the major source of worry for the world powers, a lawmaker said.
Speaking in a meeting with a number of students of Fiqh Higher Education Center, Hojat-ol-Islam Vahid Ahmadi added that the world is witnessing new conditions revolving around the pivot of Islam.
He said in the past 50 years an anti-religious movement has been ongoing. “They introduced religion as the opium of the masses and even some Muslim thinkers thought religion cannot run societies.”
Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmadi underlined that Imam Khomeini (RA) was a great figure who manifested the role of religion in society.
“The world powers at the time regarded the Islamic view that was introduced by this international figure (Imam Khomeini) as their sole enemy.”
Member of the Majlis’ National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said the enemies of the Islamic Revolution have made every effort in the past 30 years to extinguish the light of the revolution, but the Iranian nation proved that no one can stand against the progresses of Iran.
He added that Muslim scholars and thinkers ought to promote Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Islamic aspirations.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmadi further referred to the 6-day war between Arab countries and Israel in which Arabs were humiliated in a defeat to the Occupying regime, adding that the people of Palestine and Lebanon, however, who were inspired by the Islamic revolution of Iran, brought the Zionist regime to its knees in the 33-day, 22-day and 8-day wars.
