Hezbollah Leader to Counter Claims in Speech
Secretary General of Hezbollah Islamic Resistance Movement plans to deliver a speech next Saturday, to respond to allegations about the group’s involvement in an attack on Israeli tourists in Bulgaria.
According to Lebanese Al-Dyiar daily, a source close to Hezbollah said Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will deliver his speech at a ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom of Hezbollah members Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas Mousawi and Walid Mughniyeh.
The source said remarks by Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and his accusations against Hezbollah are politically motivated.
He stressed that Hezbollah is not afraid of anything and will take a stand against these accusations.
At least seven people were killed and more than 30 others injured in an explosion on a bus carrying Israeli tourists at Burgas International Airport in eastern Bulgaria on July 18, 2012.
Nasrallah’s speech will also include topics like election laws in Lebanon, the situation in Syria and Egypt, and the region’s developments.
