Quran Radio Launched in Sierra Leone

A Quran radio channel was launched on the occasion of Fajr (dawn) Ten-Day festival in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the channel called “Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) Voice of Quran” has been launched in cooperation with Iran’s Cultural Center in Sierra Leone and Freetown Islamic Faculty.
It broadcasts programs from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. local time on Islamic unity and Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in both Arabic and English languages.
It will be directed for one year by Sheikh Ahmad Tijan Silah, Friday prayer leader of the Central Mosque of the region who is a graduate of Qom Seminary.
