This is according to Abdullah Jacques Chartier, head of the French Society of Shia Muslim Converts, who added in an interview with IQNA that the diplomacy of unity, which has been mentioned by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is the best model for leaders of other Islamic countries to follow.
He said proposing the issue of diplomacy of unity by Imam Khamenei was another proof that among the leaders of Islamic countries, Imam Khamenei is the only one thinking about Muslims’ interests.
The French Shia leader said leaders of other Islamic countries should take the example and free themselves from the Zionist traps.
He said if the Zionist regime considers Iran its enemy, it is something to be proud of because it indicates the genuineness of the Islam that is practiced in Iran.
“If some Muslim countries consider themselves friends of Israel, it is a betrayal to Islam and Muslims,” Jacques Chartier stressed, adding that based on the verses of the Quran, no Muslim should remain silent over the oppression and injustice that is going on against the Palestinians.
He also underlined that achieving unity requires a courageous and considerate leader.
“The entire world knows that Imam Khomeini (RA) revived Islam in the contemporary era and after his demise, Imam Khamenei followed on his path. If Muslims of the world contemplate a little about the conditions of Islamic countries before and after the Islamic revolution of Iran, they will realize that following the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is the only way for continued existence of the Islamic Ummah.”
He added Muslim should know that having a leader, interacting with one another, internal Jihad, having the courage to point out the problems in the Muslim Ummah and trying to find solutions are among the principles for achieving solidarity and unity.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the head of the French Society of Shia Muslim Converts regretted that some Muslims are only committed to Promotion of Virtue and ignore Prevention of Vice, stressing that a Muslim should both do good deeds and oppose evil deeds.
