Poetry Contest Underway in Kazakhstan

A poetry contest titled "God’s Mercy" has been held by the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Almaty, the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the competition has been organized in cooperation with custodianship of the city’s Grand Mosque since February 10.
The mercy and forgiveness of Allah the Almighty is the theme of the poems which should be written either in Kazakh or Russian language.
The works should be sent to the secretary of the contest by March 1 and top poets will be awarded at a ceremony to be held on March 15.
