Ayatollah Mojtaba Tehrani’s Works to Be Translated & Published
The Research Center for Islamic Culture and Thought has called for cooperation in compilation, translation and publication of the late Ayatollah Agha Mujtaba Tehrani’s works.
The center has announced that a collection of valuable lessons by the late scholar is being compiled by a number of scholars and intellectuals under the supervision of Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Akbar Rashad, head of the center.
“Akhlaq-e Elahi” (Divine ethics) and “Seir wa Soluk” (spiritual journey) will be the titles of two collections of the lessons on moral and mystical issues, respectively.
The center plans to translate the collections in Arabic, English, French, German, Urdu, Turkish, Malay and Tajik languages and have them published internationally.
Grand Ayatollah Agha Mojtaba Kalhor Tehrani (April 4, 1933 – January 1, 2013) was an outstanding student of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Fiqh (jurisprudence), philosophy, ethics, and Irfan (mysticism).
He passed away on January 1, in Tehran.
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei attended the funeral procession of the great Shia figure.
