The statement also called on officials in the two countries to frimly stand against the criminal groups and make efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
“Hezbollah condemns these terrorist attacks in Iraq and Pakistan and urges the two countries’ people to exercise patience and solidarity to deny the enemies the opportunity to hatch plots against the Muslim Ummah.”
Hezbollah also extended condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and prayed for the quick recovery of those wounded in the terrorist attacks.
On Saturday, February 16, a bomb went off in a market in the suburbs of Quetta, Pakistan’s Baluchistan province, which is a Shia majority region. A large number of Shia Muslims lost their lives in the bombing.
The next morning, Sunday, February 17, a series of car bombs exploded in different parts of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, leaving scores of people dead or injured.
