Infallible Imams (AS) Presented Brilliant Models for Nations
Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said the Infallible Imams (AS) have guided the Islamic Ummah and presented brilliant models for nations.
He made the remark on Tuesday, February 19, in his speech at the opening session of the Majlis, adding that all Shia Imams (AS) acted to maintain the school of Islam and guide the Ummah.
He extended congratulations to all Muslims on the auspicious occasion of Imam Hassan Askari (AS) birth anniversary, saying that the Infallible Imam (AS) lived during the rule of 6 Abbasid Caliphs and at a time when Shia Muslims were treated harshly by the rulers.
As the conditions were not ready for the Imam (AS) to revive the political system of the society, he acted to strengthen the society’s ideological foundations, Larijani noted.
The Majlis speaker prayed that God help the Iranian nation, who are devoted to the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), to benefit from the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
Today, the 8th day of the month of Rabi Al-Thani on the lunar Hijri calendar, marks the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan Askari (AS), the 11th Shia Imam.
