The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has strongly condemned a terrorist attack on 16 February 2013 in Pakistani city of Quetta which left at least 79 people dead and wounded dozens of others.
While expressing his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the Government and people of Pakistan, the Secretary General asked for bringing culprits of the heinous terrorist attack to justice.
He further emphasized that killing innocent people including women and children is certainly against Islam and Islamic teachings and cannot be justified whatsoever.
The Secretary General also prayed for the quick recovery of the wounded.
