Quetta Terrorist Attack Victims Remembered

A ceremony was held Monday in Lahore by Majlis Vahdat Muslimin (Muslims’ Unity Assembly) of Pakistan to remember the victims of the latest terrorist attack against Shia Muslims in Quetta.
The ceremony began with recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a lecture by the assembly’s deputy Allameh Amin Shahidi, IQNA’s ICRO branch reported.
A number of religious figures including Allameh Abuzar Mahdavi, Allameh Hassanayn Aref and Heydar Ali Mirza took part in the program.
A terrorist attack on February 16 targeting Shia Muslims in Quetta killed at least 90 people, including women and children, and injured more than 200 others.
Malik Ishaq, leader of Lashkar-e-Janghavi terrorist group that claimed responsibility for the attack has been arrested recently.
