Moscow Hosts Hajj Seminar
A seminar in the Russian capital city of Moscow discussed issues related to Hajj and pilgrimage.
It was jointly organized by Russia’s Muftiat Council and the Slots Tourism Company on Tuesday, February 26, IQNA’s Europe branch reported.
Nafiollah Ashurev, the Muftiat deputy and Rashid Khaleqov, head oftehMuftiat’s Hajj Affairs Office delivered speeches at the event about programs for this year’s Hajj and cooperation among Russia’s religious and governmental institutions about Hajj pilgrimage.
The participants also called on Saudi Arabia to provide more Hajj quota for Russian Muslims, given that there is high demand among Muslims in the country for taking the spiritual journey.
