New Methods of Teaching Islamic Sciences Investigated in India

New methods of teaching Islamic sciences were discussed at a forum held by Imamiyyah Educational Institute in Nizamuddin region of New Delhi, India.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the program began with Quran recitation, by eminent Qari of the region and followed by speeches presented by a number of Indian scholars.
Indian religious scholar Seyyed Shebahat Hussein discussed application of new teaching methods for different age groups.
Hojat-ol-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Mahdawipur, representative of the Supreme Leaderof the Islamic Revolution in India, Mirza Mohammad Athar, president of All India Shia Personal Law Board and Hojat-ol-Islam Javid Hussein also took the podium and highlighted the importance of teaching and learning in view of Islam.
The program was held on February 28 with the participation of a large number of Indian Muslims in the capital city.
