Course on Tajweed Recitation of Quran Planned in Algeria

Algeria’s Cultural-Islamic Center will hold a scientific course on Tajweed recitation of the Holy Quran on March 24-28.
According to Al-Nahar Al-Jadid newspaper, the Scientific Council of Algiers, the capital city, will host the educational course.
“Tuhfa Al-Atfal wa Al-Ghelman fi Tajweed Al-Quran” written by Sheikh Salman Al-Jamzuri will be the source of instructions for the course.
The center announced that Musa Zaruq, expert in 10 different styles of the Holy Quran’s recitation will teach Tajweed principles in the Quranic course.
Those willing to attend the program are required to register at Al-Arqam Mosque in Al-Rustamiyyah region of the capital city or at Algeria’s Cultural-Islamic Center.
