“Islam, Religion of Peace and Tolerance” Forum in Senegal
A forum on “Islam, Religion of Peace and Tolerance’ will be held on March 2, in Thiès city of Senegal.
According to APS website, the program will be organized by the Union of Senegalese Young Muslims for two days with the participation of representatives of Islamic organizations from all over the country.
Sheikh Ahmad Saloum Dieng, head of the union said that the program will be supervised by Thierno Alassane Sall, a cabinet minister.
The true image of Islam as a religion that is against terrorism and violence will be introduced and discussed in the program.
The participants will also discuss the condition of people in the Republic of Mali and pass a resolution condemning extremist acts in Africa.
