“Ethics and Islamic Family” Seminar Held in Nigeria

Nigeria’s Islamic Movement held a seminar on “Ethics and Islamic Family” at Baqiyyatullah Husseyniyyah in Zaria.
According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, the program was addressed by Banu Zinat Ibrahim, religious intellectual of the country who stressed that women can play a very important and influential role in today’s world taking into account that women who have acquired necessary skills and knowledge will pave the way for the progress of their families and societies as well.
Modern sociology, ethics in family and Islamic jurisprudence and injunctions were among the themes discussed at the program.
The seminar was held on February 28 with the participation of a number of Nigerian scholars, intellectuals and citizens.
