Religious Photography Contest Underway in Russia

A photography contest on “the best image of Islam” has been organized by the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Nizhny Novgorod Province of Russia.

According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the competition began on February 28 in cooperation with “Noor-e Maah” (moonlight) Islamic School of the region.
Islam in history and life of Muslims in the province are the themes of the photos sent to the organizing committee of the contest.
The religious-art competition will continue until April 14 and top photographers will be awarded at a ceremony in late April.
