The construction project of a new religious-cultural complex in Bussy-Saint-Georges region of France will conclude by the holy month of Ramadan (June).
According to trouvetamosquee website, the construction of the first cultural-religious complex in Europe which will include a mosque began in 2010.
The plan was proposed by Islamic organizations of the country, particularly Tawba Association aiming to provide an opportunity to promote dialogue and interaction among different faiths, to introduce true values of Islam and to draw a true picture of Islam for followers of other religions.
The complex was due to open by the end of 2012, but because of financial problems, the date has been postponed to June 2013.
Nearly € 390,000 is needed to complete the work and the Muslim community as well as French people have been called to support the project.
The mosque of the complex will be set up on a 2000 square-meter site to accomodate some 500 worshippers. It will include a library, conference hall, two classrooms, a arousal space for children and offices.
