“Tatars' Religious Heritage” National Forum Planned in Kazan
A national forum on Tatars' religious heritage will be held on March 12 in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the Islamic University of Russia will host the program, which is to be organized by Tatarstan’s Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs.
Promoting the level of religious knowledge of the youth, providing opportunities for the young generation to get acquianted with Islamic sciences, preserving religious heritage of the nation and disseminating religious and traditional values are the main objectives of the forum.
It will be attended by a number of scholars, intellectuals and experts in religious affairs, students of Islamic educational institutes and those interested in the theme of the forum.
