"Year 2013 and Muslim World” Forum Planned in Russia

A national forum on “Year 2013 and Muslim world” will be held from March 21 to 24 by the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Perm, the European part of Russia.

According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the program will be attended by a number of scholars, intellectuals, cultural, political and scientific figures of the country from various cities including Moscow, Kazan, and Ufa.
Islamic education and training and preservation of national-religious values will be the main themes of the forum.
A Quran recitation contest and workshops on religious and philosophical issues have also been planned to be held on the sidelines of the program.
