Quran is a comprehensive book and in order to clarify its comprehensiveness there needs to be organizational activities, a Kuwaiti scholar said.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Al-Ali told IQNA that the Holy Quran is not a book of economics, sociology or law, but one can extract the basic framework of these sciences from the Holy Book.
“When we talk about the Quran, we are actually speaking about an all-inclusive school for living a prosperous life,” he said, adding that the Quran is the Muslims’ constitution, and the language of Revelation and monotheism.
Hojat-ol-Islam Al-Ali underlined that Quran activists, including reciters, memorizers, interpreters, researchers and those in charge of printing the Quran have a responsibility to implement the Quranic ethics in society and act upon the Revelation in their life.
He underlined the significant role of Quran activists in different social arenas and said they should strive to lead societies toward becoming Quranic ones.
“Today we should follow the path of Divine messengers and work to institutionalize Islamic values in society and we should realize that Quran activists shoulder a heavier responsibility than others in this regard.”
Hojat-ol-Islam Al-Ali stressed that the Quran’s teachings are based on thinking and contemplation and that the Holy Book frequently urges for thinking and contemplating. “Therefore, we should found our life upon these teachings of the Quran so that we can have a Quranic society.”
The Kuwaiti cleric also referred to the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) as a huge wealth for Muslims and said there are numerous Hadiths narrated from Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) that Muslims can apply in life.
