Economic Epic Will Foil Sanctions
The realization of the motto of economic epic will thwart the sanctions (imposed on Iran by the West), head of World Shia Studies Forum said.
Referring to the naming of the new Iranian calendar year (started March 21) by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution as the Year of Political and Economic Epic, Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Ansari Boyerahmadi added that this year’s motto is also complementary to the previous year’s motto of Support for Iranian Labor and Capital.
He said the Supreme Leader’s messages at the beginning of every year have specific wisdom and foundations, saying that every year His Eminence mentions a special motto based on the necessities and general conditions of the Islamic Establishment.
According to the cleric, this year’s motto of Political and Economic Epic has two parts due to the current circumstances.
“Given the upcoming presidential elections and the Islamic Awakening movement in Muslim countries as well as global arrogance’s confrontation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, part of the motto is political epic, and due to the need for completing the support for Iranian labor and capital, and also due to sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic by the enemies, the other part of this year’s motto is economic epic.”
Hojat-ol-Islam Ansari Boyerahmadi went on to say that selecting this motto for the current year by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei shows the need for all members of the society to put the issues of politics and economy on top of their agenda.
