A number of government organizations cooperate in the project with the aim of providing a good opportunity for Muslim women to promote their Islamic and Quranic knowledge and preventing extremist views from developing among them.
Osh is the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan, located in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country and often referred to as the "capital of the south". The vast majority of people in Kyrgyzstan are Muslims, as 86 percent of the country's population are followers of Islam.
