Laudable Performance of Egyptian Reciter in Kuwait Int’l Quran Contest

Egypt’s representative in Kuwait’s International Holy Quran Competition had an admirable performance on Saturday.
Abdul-Aziz Ahmed Abdul-Aziz’s recitation on the 4th day of the contest drew applause from the audience at the competition hall as well as members of the jury panel, Al-Ray daily reported.
He is taking part in the Qara’at Ashar (ten styles of recitation) category of the international competition.
Those listening to Abdul-Aziz’s recitation at the competition hall congratulated him on his excellent performance and predicted that he will win the top title in the category.
Kuwait’s TV network have invited the Egyptian Qari to recite verses of the Quran in their programs.
Contestants in other categories on the fourth day included Muhammad Yusef Al-Bakr from eh host country, Sa’ad Hamza Sabet from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Salem Walad Almijad from Mauritania, Abdul-Bachi Musa Inous Yunus from Republic of Central Africa, and Issa Amri Kabrnej from Tanzania.
On the sidelines of the contest, a seminar was held on the scientific miracle of the Quran, in which Mauritanian scholar Sheikh Muhamamd Al-Hassan Al-Shantiqi explained some aspects of the Quran’s scientific miracle.
The 4th edition of Kuwait’s International Holy Quran Competition began on Wednesday, April 3, in Kuwait City and will run until April 10.
Hossein Mehdizadeh and Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini represent Iran in the memorization and recitation categories of the contest, respectively.
