Educational, Assessment Program for Quran Reciters, Memorizers Concludes

The sixth edition of an educational and assessment program for the country’s top Quran reciters and memorizers concluded on Friday.
The closing ceremony was held at the Quran Supreme Council in Tehran with the participation of some of prominent Quran experts.
In an address to the ceremony, Mohammad-Taqi Mirzajani, secretary of the special committee for selecting and sending Quran reciters and memorizers to international Quran competitions, presented a report on this edition, describing it as very fruitful.
He said the committee held the program in an effort to send the best Quran reciters and memorizers of the country to international Quran contests.
It was aimed at better assessing the readiness of the reciters and memorizers and preparing them for international Quranic events, Mirzajani added.
He noted that some of the most eminent Quran experts of the country, including Masters Hojat-ol-Islam Hajabolghassem, Hojat-ol-Islam Shahidipour, Ahmad Abolghassemi, Gholam Reza Shahmiveh, Mohammad Reza Sotudenia, Mahmoud Lotfinia, Seyyed Javad Sadat-Fatemi, Jahanbakhsh Faraji, Abbas Emamjome, and Mohammad Hossein Sabzali took part in the program.
The sixth edition of the educational and assessment program for the country’s top Quran reciters and memorizers was organized by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization and secretariat of the special committee for selecting and sending Quran reciters and memorizers to international Quran competitions.
