This is according to the Persian Gulf country’s Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Minister Qeith Bin Mubarak Al-Kuwari who said the 29th edition will be different from previous editions in term of content, time, location and organization, Al-Arab Daily reported.
He thanked Qatari citizens and parents of Quran memorizers for their cooperation with the ministry in carrying out Quranic activities.
The official also noted that efforts made by Quran memorization centers and parents of Quran memorizers have been very fruitful.
Preparations are already underway for the 20th National Quran Competition of Qatar, which will be the biggest Quran competition of the country in terms of the number of participants.
