Establishment of Quran Deputy, Among Main Measures Taken by Culture Ministry
Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said the establishment of a Quran deputy was one of the main Quranic measures taken by the ministry last year.
Speaking in a press conference on Monday, April 15, Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini added that the ministry also awarded state medals to 14 Quran activists last Iranian calendar year (ended March 20).
The press conference was held to introduce the Rah-Toushe Exhibition, which will feature the accomplishments of the culture ministry.
Hosseini said the exhibition will kick off on Tuesday at the Vahdat Hall in Tehran and will run until April 24.
He said that at the exhibition, all the deputies of the ministry will showcase their activities and achievements in recent years.
The official referred to the organizing the Hollywoodism and Cinema Conference, holding the gathering of Muslim journalists and organizing the meeting of Muslim world’s Publishers Union as some of the major activities of the ministry in the past years.
