Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Samsamoddin Qavami said lifestyle is Seerah itself, which is divided into two sections: theoretical and practical.
He said Islam is a Divine package for human beings to live a pure and elevated life.
This religion has a set of beliefs, ethical principles, and commandments for a better life and for the spiritual growth of humanity, he added.
The Qom Seminary scholar said Islam is a complete system which is purposeful, methodical and regulated and that the Islamic lifestyle should be taken from the rules and teachings of Islam.
He added that any style of life has three layers. “The first one, which is the basis and foundation, is beliefs. The middle layer includes values, norms and ethical principles, and the third, which is the surface layer includes rules and regulations, also known as Fiqh (jurisprudence).
Hojat-ol-Islam Qavami underlined that the Seerah of the Infallibles (AS) represents the Islamic style of life.
He added that the Imams (AS) in a period lasting more than 200 years institutionalized their style in the society. “The great (Shia) scholars and figures have collected reports about the Seerah of Imams (AS) for us and we can extract the Islamic lifestyle from these teachings.”
