Imam Khamenei Offers Condolences over Demise of Ayatollah Rezvani
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution issued a message of condolence over the demise of Ayatollah Gholam-Reza Rezvani.
Imam Khamenei in his message offered condolences to the bereaved family and to the students and devotees of the late scholar.
“The dignified cleric was one of the trusted students of Imam Khomeini (RA) and held different positions including membership of the Guardian Council, His Eminence said.
The Supreme Leader hoped that, God Willing, Ayatollah Rezvani’s services in interactions with other bodies to clarify the Fiqhi (jurisprudential) views of the Guardian Council, will be accepted and blessed by God.
Further in his message, Imam Khamenei wished Divine mercy and exaltation for the late Ayatollah.
Ayatollah Rezvani, who had been a member of the Guardian Council since 1989, passed away on Friday, April 19, at a hospital in Tehran.
