Quran Memorizers Honored in Khan Yunis
The 6th annual festival of honoring Quran memorizers was held on Saturday in the cultural center of the city’s municipality.
Memorizers of the entire Quran and those who have learned parts of the Quran by heart were praised and awarded at the program, Dunya Al-Watan website reported.
The festival was attended by a number of local officials and managers of a number of schools in the area.
It was organized by the cultural center under the supervision of Muhammad Al-Hamziyat head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA).
In a speech, he appreciated the efforts by school managers and local officials to promote Quranic programs.
