This is according to university and seminary scholar Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Taqi Fa’alli, while speaking at a ceremony held to unveil his new book titled “Monotheistic Lifestyle and Divine Accomplishments”.
The ceremony was held at the Iranian Academics Quranic Activities Organization (IAQAO) on Tuesday, April 23, and was attended by head of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in the University of Tehran, Hojat-ol-Islam Ebrahim Kalantari, and head of the IAQAO, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mehdi Taqavi.
Hojat-ol-Islam Fa’alli said his studies showed that the western lifestyle is closely interconnected with the thought that religion should be separated from everything that is related to mankind.
He said that the modern lifestyle tries to give a model for all aspects of human life and that it has prescriptions for everything from speaking to walking to other activities.
The cleric noted that in Islamic texts there are so many guidelines about lifestyle that should be collected and presented in a practical way.
“This came to my mind four years ago and I stated to write a book about it. I intended to write a 100-vlume book, which needs a lot of endeavors. The 7-volume part, two volumes of which are unveiled today, features the themes of calmness, self-confidence, happiness, benevolence, forgiveness, and controlling anger and fear.”
He said while the western lifestyle is spreading in the world, it is necessary to use Islamic sources to write books and introduce the Islamic lifestyle to the world.
