Int’l Book Fair Planned in Karbala
The 9th edition of international book fair in the holy city of Karbala will be held on the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS).
According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine, the exhibition will be held by the organizing committee of the 9th international festival of “Bahar-e Shahadat” (spring of martyrdom).
The committee has invited publishers and representatives of cultural institutes and research centers to take part at the exhibition.
The 11th of May has been announced as the deadline for registration to attend the book fair.
The Astans of the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS) will organize the exhibition.
The cultural event will be held in teh holy city from the beginning of Sha’ban (June 10) to mid Sha’ban (June 24).
