Muslims Religious Affairs Office Opens in Russia

The Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Moscow, Russia, was officially opened on April 25.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the center for press services of the religious office in the capital city announced that Al-Dar Alaeddinov, preacher and imam of the Central Mosque in Moscow, has been assigned as head of the office.
It is also announced that the office has been opened following the increase in the number of Muslims in the capital city.
The religious office is responsible for strengthening cooperation among Islamic societies, solving Muslims’ problems in Moscow, cooperating with social and educational institutes and disseminating religious, spiritual and moral values in the region.
