Muslim Youth Int’l Festival Planned in Tatarstan
The 7th international festival of Muslim youth will be held on June 10-18 in Tatarstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the press services section of Tatarstan’s Religious Office announced that the festival aims at strengthening unity among Muslim youth all over the world and promoting cooperation among them to solve the problems of the Islamic society.
The international program will be organized by the religious office in cooperation with Ministry of the Youths Affairs, Sport and Tourism, National and Cultural Federation and the Ideal Youth Center.
It will be sponsored by the Religious Section of the country’s Presidential Office.
The festival will include a forum on important issues that Muslim youth in Russia deal with, as well as speeches, contests, workshops on Islamic teachings, meeting with religious scholars and intellectuals, screening of Islamic films and visiting historical and religious places in Tatarstan.
