UEA Hosts Int'l Conference on Islamic Economics and China

Zayed University's Institute for Islamic World Studies (ISWS) hosts the International Conference on Islamic Economics and China at its Dubai Campus from May 4 to 5.
Dr. Nasr Arif, Executive Director and Professor, Institute of Islamic World Studies, Zayed University, said the conference will assemble 16 speakers including ten from China.
Dr. Zhang Shaoming, Vice President, Ningxia Academy of Social Sciences, Yinchuan, China, will speak about ''New Features of Chinese Muslims Enterprise Development''.
Waqf Model and Its Application in Chinese Muslim Society, Role of Mosque in Chinese Muslim Education, Halal Food Industry and Standardization in China: Regulations and Survival Guide, Characteristics of Consumer Behavior of Chinese Muslims, Muslim Business Ethics in China, The Basics of Islamic Financial Cooperation between Arab States and China, Opportunities and Challenges of Islamic Finance Services in China, Islamic Economics and World Financial Crises and Islamic Finance and the Challenges of Development in a Globalized World will top the agenda of discussion.
