Islamic Encyclopedia Published in Azerbaijan

The 2nd volume of an Islamic encyclopedia was published in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the Religious Affairs Organization of the country announced that the volume was published by the Center for Religious Researches in Azerbaijan in cooperation with the Youth Association of the OIC.
The encyclopedia will be completed in three volumes in Azeri language, two volumes of which have been presented to the public so far.
The first volume was published in December 2012.
The second volume was distributed among the bookstores of the country on May 2, 2013.
This volume includes 1001 proper nouns as the entries complied by local researches and experts under the supervision of Ilchin Askarov, director of the project.
