Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini made the remark in an interview with IQNA referring to allegations by the enemies that Iranians have distorted the Quran.
He noted that there is a propaganda campaign by the enemies wrongly accusing Iranians of having a different and distorted Quran.
The minister said in order to foil these allegations, there are plans for printing millions of copies of the Quran in the country and sending them to Muslim countries, especially those in which the Islamic Awakening movement has happened.
He said the Quran copies will be printed buy the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Center for Printing the Holy Quran.
The Culture Ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy had also said previously that Quran copies with special signs representing the Islamic Republic of Iran, such as Taz’hib (illumination) and Nastaliq script, will be printed and distributed in Islamic countries.
