Quranic Sciences International Board to Be Set Up in Egypt

Head of the Holy Quran Revision Committee in Al-Azhar University announced that an International Board of Quranic Sciences will be established in Egypt.
According to Al-Yawm Al-Sabe’ newspaper, Sheikh Isaa Al-Ma’sarawi, the Sheikh (master) of Egyptian Qaris and head of the committee said that Egypt is a country where Quranic sciences have developed among Arab and Islamic countries and a school in which eminent Quran reciters of the world of Islam are trained.
Speaking at a meeting with Mustafa Isaa, governor of Al-Minya Province in Egypt, Al-Ma’sarawi announced that the International Board of Quranic Sciences will be established in the country.
Various stages of setting up a center for Quranic studies in the province were also discussed at the meeting.
The governor of of Al-Minya Province said that the project is underway with the cooperation and supervision of a large number of experts and intellectuals.
He added that the center aims to facilitate teaching of the Holy Quran to the students of the region and noted that other educational centers and the private universities of the province will also be supported and granted services to realize the objective.
