Summer Quranic Courses to Begin in Karbala

Holy Quran Center of Hazrat Abbas’s (AS) holy shrine in Karbala will hold summer Quranic courses as of May 20.
According to Al-Kafeel website, the courses will include Quran memorization sessions, as well as instructions on jurisprudence, ethics and religious principles and beliefs.
Sheikh Muhammad Al-Salami, head of the center said that the Quranic course is one of the important programs of the center planned with the aim of training a generation acquainted with Quranic culture.
He added that eminent Quran experts will supervise the instructions on Quran memorization, recitation, Tajweed principles, Quranic meaning and interpretation, and the reason of revelation of Quranic verses and their virtues.
Prayers and its requirements, Seerah of Ahl-ul-Bait (AS), principles of ethics based on the Holy Quran and Seerah of the infallible Imams (AS) and how one should observe the principles in his life will also be among the course materials.
The Quranic center, affiliated to the Section for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs of the holy shrine, holds the same courses also at a number of mosques and Husseinyahs in Karbala.
