“Islam, Religion of Peace and Understanding” Int’l Forum in Chechnya

An international forum on “Islam, Religion of Peace and Understanding” will be held on May 26 in Grozny, the Republic of Chechnya.

According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Chechnya announced that the program has been planned to commemorate Ahmed-hadji Kadyrov, the first president and the late Grand Mufti of the country.
The organization of the forum was discussed at a meeting of members and representatives of government and religious institutes of the republic.
The two-day forum will be attended by Muslim scholars, intellectuals and religious figures from over 30 countries.
