Quran Laboratory Planned in Sumatra

The Quran Memorization Institute in the city of Palembang, in Indonesia’s South Sumatra province, plans to launch a Quran laboratory.
Masagus Fauzan Yayan, chairman of the institute’s board of directors said the laboratory is aimed at improving the quality of Quran education.
He said the institute also plans to establish an Islamic research and education in the city, VOI website reported.
He further noted that the number of Quran memorization centers in Indonesia will rise to 100 in the near future and the quality of Quranic education will also improve.
Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country in the world. Muslims make up 85 percent of the Southest Asian country.
