Islam’s Enemies Fearing Spread of Quranic Culture in the World

Vice-speaker of the Majlis’ cultural commission said the spread of the Quranic culture in the world has frightened the enemies of Islam.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmad Salek said since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, there have been special attention to fostering the Quranic culture and that has worried the enemies of Islam.
He said the status of Quran recitation and memorization in the country before was not acceptable.
“Although prior to the revolution’s victory there were Quranic sessions taught by Quran masters like Fasih, Shokuhandeh and others, Quranic activities in the country were not comprehensive,” he noted.
Hojat-ol-Islam Salek added that many Iranians were not familiar with Quran recitation and memorization at that time.
“This, fortunately, changed after the victory of the revolution with the Quranic discourse introduced buy Imam Khomeini (RA).”
The cleric added that the country is now in such a high status in terms of Quranic progress that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has called for training 10 million memorizers of the Holy Quran.
He further praised the endeavors made by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization to promote the Quranic culture in different ways, such as organizing national and international Quran competitions.
Hojat-ol-Islam Salek went on to say that Iranians will certainly build their future based on the lofty culture of Quranic civilization.
