CFCM Condemns Vandals’ Attack on Mosque

The French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) in a statement condemned the recent desecration of a mosque in the city of Limoges.
According to atlasinfo website, the council said it was the fourth time the mosque has been vandalized with racist motives.
It added that since the beginning of 2013, nearly 10 mosques in France have been attacked and desecrated.
The statement called on French Muslims to maintain calm in the face of these acts of desecration whose purpose in nothing but angering Muslims.
It also urged the French government to use all necessary measures to prevent these attacks from happening again.
CFCM chairman Mohammed Mousawi said the council regrets such events and stressed support for the officials and worshippers of the mosques.
